I took some interesting photos of Christmas light last night with a canon 100 2.8 macro lens last night. I might use these as a christmas card. The shape of the background lights that are out of focus is the same shape as the aperture of the lens. Some lenses are more octagonal and some like the canon 50.102L are circular. at any rate, to me it give the photos a hi contrast 70’s feel.
