submerged – under water photos
I'll be focusing on some underwater photography from now until September.
Here's a series of surreal photos taken this past week... there's also a short video at the end.
recent landscape work
I love landscape photography. The way the light changes every 30 seconds and the way waiting always seems to have a big payoff in some undiscovered color or light reflection. To me being outside at the golden hour is like being in god's photo studio. I'm lucky that I'm seeing more demand from clients for my landscape work, here are some recent examples:
Stratford Land of Dallas recently chose some of my west texas photos to illustrate their annual report, collateral work and web site.
I also recently shots some landscape property near Pace Bend Park work for Mark Fox Real Estate, that ran in various publications including Texas Monthly magazine.
Finally my friends at the Ramashla Ashram on the south shore of the Big Island of Hawaii are using a series of the photos I took of for their collateral and advertising.
I'm looking forward to returning to Hawaii and the Big Island in August.
Crawdaddy! Magazine
Crawdaddy magazine has a long history - going back to the early 1960's, and they continue to to be relevant today. Just check this article on The Greatful Dead vs the Boredoms ....amazing!
Their current web incarnation is run by Wolfgang's Vault of Phil Graham Presents fame.
I'm proud they are currently featuring some of my photos from 2009 in their Rock Art Rock Gallery:
